‘MahaShivratri’ - A night long Aradhana Festival of Music & Dance by Raja Radha Reddy & Natya Tarangini

In the late Winter season or phalgun and before the arrival of Summer season, Natya Tarangini & Raja Radha Reddy celebrate the Great Night of Shiva with his devotees in a festival of Music & Dance. Maha Shivratri marks the day of the consummation of marriage of Shiva & Parvati and it is observed by remembering Lord Shiva with chanting prayers, fasting and meditating, the ardent devotees also keep awake all night.

Keeping in mind the necessity to bring the common masses closer to the Indian traditions and culture and to ensure that the rich Indian Heritage is preserved for generations to come, we at Natya Tarangini have launched Maha Shivaratari – an ode to Lord Shiva.
