Natya Tarangini Gurukulam
In 1976 Natya Tarangini, was founded in the National Capital Region, by world renowned Kuchipudi Dance duo Raja Radha Reddy. Soon along with their dancing family, they run this institution with personal care and dedication with the sole aim to uphold Indian Culture Traditions and Heritage. Natya Tarangini disciples stand for excellence, dedication and passion - attributes that are cultivated in a homely Guru-Shishya environment where dance is a way of life.
Our History
Drs. Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy continue the tradition of the art by teaching Kuchipudi in a systematic manner to young and promising pupils. Today, the institution has students across the globe under the watchful eyes of the Gurus Raja and Radha, Kaushalya Reddy, Yamini and Bhavana Reddy.
India's first and only Kuchipudi dancing family to feature in Limca Book of Records in 2006. They have solely dedicated their lives to and innovating the dance form for their rasikas and disciples. Together, they carry on the training under the age-old “Guru Shishya” parampara.
In New Delhi, we have a Gurukulam to Natya Tarangini’s founders, gurus and disciples. Here, we also established The Natya Tarangini Performing Arts Centre having facilities such as Amphitheatre, Art Gallery and a Gurukulam (hostel) for students to enrol in opportunities from India & Abroad. Underprivileged, meritorious, deserving and children with special needs are encouraged to take advantage of the institution's services.
